Highlights: Visit the traditional village of Fafião and its ancient wolf trap (Fojo dos Lobos). Admire the breathtaking Tahiti and Arado waterfalls.
Scenic Views: Stop at the famous Pedra Bela viewpoint for the best panoramic vista in Portugal.
Nature & Culture: Drive through the protected Mata da Albergaria forest, see traces of the Roman Road (Geira), and visit the submersed village history at Vilarinho das Furnas. Finish with a relaxing moment at Alqueirão River Beach or the São Bento Sanctuary.
Option 2: The Deep Dive (2-Day Tour)
A more relaxed pace that allows you to venture further into the remote northern mountains.
Day 1: Explore the southern gems, including Fafião, Arado Waterfall, and Pedra Bela. Enjoy a swim at Alqueirão Beach (summer) or visit local craft markets in Vilar da Veiga.
Day 2: Journey into the heart of the park. Discover the Lindoso Castle and its famous stone granaries (espigueiros). Cross the Serra Amarela (Yellow Mountains), visit the remote village of Germil, and explore the ancient Roman heritage in the forest.
