Our final stop is Khao Chi Chan, also known as Buddha Mountain. This remarkable site features a majestic outline of a seated Buddha, engraved into the cliffside using laser technology. Created in honour of King Rama IX’s 50th year on the throne, the image standing 30 metres tall and 70 metres, wide is named Maha Vajira Uttamobhassada, meaning “The Great Sage Who Radiates Enlightenment". After taking in the serenity and grandeur of this sacred landmark, we begin our return journey to Bangkok at around 4.30 PM, arriving back at your hotel by approximately 6:30 PM.
