This Tour covers 4 carefully selected stories that will certainly pick your interest. From one of the biggest cons ever attempted in the financial world, to the professional gambler who designed the modern banking system (before making a bad bet on Louisiana and making his whole construction collapse), we have found the hidden gem, the diamond in the rough, the unbelievable but true …

This tour has also been designed with balance in mind. Some stories are fun and (relatively) light-hearted while others are more deep and philosophical. Some of our scandals are fun to hear about but do not bear any impact on our modern world while others still hunt us today and shape our world as we know it. From spy intrigue to backroom deals, to scams exploding into scandals feeding the French Revolution …

But before you embark on this adventure, beware ! This Tour is “rated PG13” or under a warning of “Parental Advisory”. Some of our scandals are … well scandalous and can be not suited for children or delicate souls … Which can certainly make them appealing to others. Without saying too much, let’s say we had a president dying “the French way” …

!Please Note! It is recommended to book in advance as I may be called to work for other tour companies and if there is no bookings I will have to close certain slots to work on other missions. Slots are guaranteed only if there are bookings and therefore it is best to book ahead !

PRIVATE TOUR

On the Private Tour the experience can last from 2h30 to 3h as we dive deeper into the material and give you an exclusive storey (The Scandals of the Revolution). We can also arrange a stop at a pastry/macaron shop for a pause and chat (the cost on location is not covered by Ode to Paris).
