What you can expect
Navigate the Panama Canal in a vessel that takes you through the gigantic Pacific Locks. This tour gives you the memorable opportunity of learning how the engineering marvel was built as you transit 2 sets of locks.
After the lift from your hotel, your ship departs Flamenco Island in Amador and sails under the Bridge of the Americas, past the port of Balboa on one side and the Rodman US Navy base on the other, and heads into the Miraflores Locks. Here, the ship is raised up to 54 feet (16 m) in a 2-step process to deposit you on your way to Pedro Miguel. Cross the Pedro Miguel Locks and the Culebra Cut until you reach the Gatun Lake. Then, head back to Panama City by bus.
Enjoy a traditional Panamanian lunch, transfer to a bus to return to your starting point and take a lift back to your hotel.
