Our tour begins in the heart of Pamplona, at Plaza del Castillo, the main meeting point for locals and visitors. There, we will meet our guide, and from this location, we will begin our experience.
Next, we will venture into Pamplona's Old Town, strolling through its narrow, cobbled streets as we learn about the city's history and hear stories about secret passages and legends of hidden loves.
We will continue to Calle Estafeta, famous worldwide for the San Fermín bull running, and visit Plaza Consistorial, where the famous chupinazo (firecracker) is set off each year to mark the start of the festivities. Next, we will walk along the Cuesta de Santo Domingo, where we will learn about our patron saint, San Fermín, and visit a museum that, according to tradition, is home to a mysterious ghost.
Our tour continues along the ancient city walls, where we can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views, and then we will arrive at the Cathedral of Santa María la Real, a majestic building where we will learn about the legend of Teodosio de Goñi and hear stories about witchcraft and popular beliefs.
Throughout the tour, our guide will share interesting facts, anecdotes, and legends about famous figures, such as the author Ernest Hemingway, who immortalised Pamplona in his novel The Sun Also Rises.
We will conclude the tour at the Plaza de Toros de Pamplona, another iconic venue for the San Fermín festivities and one of the city's most emblematic sites. At the end of the tour, your guide will provide local recommendations so that you can continue exploring Pamplona at your own pace.
