Discover the shadowy side of Palermo on a unique walking tour that blends legends and crime stories and bites of traditional Sicilian street food. As sun hides under the clouds, your guide will lead you through the heart of the historic centre—near landmarks like Piazza Quattro Canti, the iconic baroque crossroads where power, faith, and superstition once collided.
From there, you'll explore the area around Piazza Pretoria, home to the legendary “Fountain of Shame”, and learn stories of passion, revenge and history's most prolific poisoner. Along the way, you’ll pause for small local tastings, including a classic arancina and a local drink, enjoyed in simple, authentic spots that reflect the real soul of the city. To finish in Piazza della Marina by the Palace that once housed the Inquisition with a traditional Sicilian sweet—a final taste to balance the darkness of the tales that surround this iconic location.
This 90-minute experience is ideal for curious travellers who enjoy uncovering legends, crime history, and local culture—told at night, through Palermo’s most atmospheric streets.

Please note that the tour does not focus on Mafia-related stories.
