Overview

Tsavo East National park is the largest and oldest Game park in Kenya- attitude start as low as 1200ft to 3000tf above the sea level. Gazette 1948 and located near the village of Voi in the Taita Taveta District of coast province. The park is divided into East/West sections by the A109 road and the railway line. Area 13,747 km2.

Tsavo East is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, leopard, lions nicknamed the “Man eaters of Tsavo”, Buffalo, Cheetah, Giraffe, Antelopes, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk and Hirola as well as a variety of bird species.

Visit the famous Aruba dam where lots of wildlife can be seen especially during the dry season.

You will be picked from the port at 6.00am in the morning, drive to Tsavo East and arrive at the gate at around 9:00 am. Here you will begin your game watch. Visit various places including Aruba Dam (the waterhole built by British Army 1952 during Colonial time.) After the game drive, you will heck in at the Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch you will relax till 4 :00 pm and then begin an evening game drive until sundown. Later is dinner and overnight stay at Voi Wildlife lodge https://voiwildlifelodge.com/ or similar

Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast then checkout, proceed with a game drive en route to the gate. Then exit and start the drive to Diani or the airport .
