Immerse yourself in the authentic flavours and traditions of Salento with a hands-on traditional fresh pasta-making class at Podere Santa Chiara.
Surrounded by lush greenery and enjoying a beautiful view of the Alimini Lakes, you will learn how to make some of Salento’s most traditional types of fresh pasta by hand: orecchiette, maccheroni and sagne, while discovering the traditional techniques and secrets of homemade pasta.
A local pasta maker will guide you step by step, from preparing and working the dough to shaping the different types of pasta. You will have the opportunity to get your hands in the dough, learn traditional techniques and enjoy a fun and relaxed culinary experience.
The class takes place in the peaceful surroundings of Podere Santa Chiara, immersed in nature with a stunning view of the Alimini Lakes. It is the perfect opportunity to slow down, connect with local traditions and experience an authentic taste of Salento.
At the end of the cooking class, we will enjoy a relaxing tasting of local Salento wine together. Sit back, enjoy a glass of regional wine and share a convivial moment surrounded by the beauty of the countryside.
If you wish, you can also stay for dinner and enjoy the orecchiette you prepared during the class: a dinner featuring your homemade orecchiette is included in the experience. Any additional dishes ordered from the menu and additional drinks are not included and will be charged separately.
A perfect experience for food lovers, couples, families and anyone who wants to discover the authentic culinary traditions of Puglia while enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the Salento countryside.
