Overview

I belong to the third generation of coffee producers in my family. Taster and barista. I lived for 20 years in a coffee farm and 7 years ago I created and developed with my wife the concept of “Divine Special Coffee”, starting as a distributor testing, developing and explaining our experience of all production. Chain : planting coffee plant, harvesting, roasting, and preparing the best Colombian coffee.

Activity itinerary

Timetable: English : 11 : 00 a.m. Spanish: 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Discover Colombian coffee in an authentic, sensory and memorable way in the heart of La Candelaria, one of the most emblematic areas of Bogotá. This experience has been created for curious travellers, coffee lovers and people who want to connect with one of Colombia’s greatest riches through its aromas, flavours and stories. During the activity you will participate in a guided tasting, where you will learn to differentiate a good coffee through its fragrances, aromas, flavours and body. Then you will enjoy 4 varieties of speciality coffee prepared in 4 extraction methods, such as espresso machine, Japanese siphon, Chemex or V60, and AeroPress or French press. Throughout the experience you will discover how coffee changes according to its preparation and learn 4 essential steps to make a better coffee at home. Everything will be accompanied by a delicious portion of cake from the house, so you can live a warm, elegant and truly special moment.
