The King of Matatlan is an artisanal mezcal distillery with a lot of tradition in the state, in this place you will know the most popular form of the elaboration of the mezcal, will make a tour throughout the installation to observe each of the processes and at the end of the explanation will proceed with the tasting of the distillates in their different presentations.

You will visit an agave field to know a silvering and cultivation of each species, you will also be surprised by the beautiful landscapes of agave that have a contrast with the mountains that surround the area, it is also a great favourite place to take pictures. Depending on the season and the age of the crops a plant can be harvested as our activity becomes more submersible to the daily activity of the peasant.

Lucas Heritage is a distillery that makes mezcal ancestral, you will be surprised by the quality of the distillate with this you will understand more about the aromas and flavours of each agave that they use to make the drink. We cannot overlook the tasting of the genuine mezcals that Master Fernando elaborates with much passion and love, thus retaining the knowledge that his family has inherited.

To close the experience, we will taste the local cuisine of the Magic Town of Mitla, with multiple options to enjoy traditional dishes, made with fresh and local ingredients.
