Just 5 kilometres from Ancient Olympia, the third-generation family olive mill Oilympian Koufolias invites you to discover the history, tradition, and secrets of Greek olive oil through an authentic and interactive experience.

The visit begins with a unique open-air exhibition of historic olive oil production machinery from the last century, where you will learn about the evolution of olive oil production over time. In the surrounding area, you will admire the iconic olive tree, a symbol of the Greek land and culture.

Next, you will tour our modern facilities and watch a detailed presentation of all stages of production, from the harvest of the fruit to the extraction and storage of the olive oil. Through videos and explanations from our experts, you will learn about the importance of quality, freshness, and proper production methods.

The experience concludes with a guided tasting, during which you will sample organic extra virgin olive oil, Olympia PGI extra virgin olive oil, aromatic olive oils with rosemary, oregano, and lemon, as well as table olives, accompanied by freshly baked bread. You will learn how to recognise the quality characteristics of an extra virgin olive oil, evaluate its aromas and flavours, and use it correctly in your daily diet.

At the end of the guided tour, you will have the opportunity to purchase our products directly from the production site. The guided tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and is conducted in Greek and English.
