What you can expect

  • Take a journey through Manila and explore its rich history, fascinating architecture and ancient buildings. Discover the Philippines' financial capital in bustling Makati City, the historic American Cemetery & Memorial, and the ancient walled-city of Intramuros—a remnant of Manila's colonial past.

Be picked up from your hotel and head to vibrant Makati City. Pass by grand building structures, the former US air base at Nielson Field, and the luxurious community of Forbes Park—the Philippines' own Bel Air.

Continue to the American Cemetery and Memorial, with the graves of more than 17,000 soldiers who lost their lives during World War II. After paying your respects, walk along scenic Rizal Park and view the monument honouring the Philippine revolutionary hero José Rizal.

Next, explore Intramuros—the oldest city quarter in Manila. Stroll through ancient walls and ruins dating back to the late 16th century to reach San Agustin Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at the church’s Baroque architecture and unique trompe-l'oeil murals on its ceilings and walls.

Stop at Fort Santiago, once a Spanish fortress and now a national historical landmark. Tour around the fort and see historical landscapes before returning to your hotel.
