The Complex houses replica of Swayambhu Stupa the most important pilgrimage site for Buddhists. The Stupa complex houses Buddhist monasteries of Tibetan, Newari Vajrayana and Theravada monasteries. It's only such place where one can witness monasteries of different Buddhist sects.
