Venture out on a 21-km trek that crosses Fuegian forests, glacial valleys, and frozen lagoons until you reach the impressive Ojo del Albino Glacier, in the heart of the Andes Mountain Range. A demanding trek, ideal for people with mountain experience, which rewards you with unique landscapes and the support of certified tour guides and technical gear. A trek that leaves a lasting impression.
Discover the experience step by step
- 7:30 AM - Pick-up from accommodation
We pick you up from your accommodation in a private vehicle. The time may vary depending on the number of passengers. - 8:00 AM - Start of the trek
Gear check, review of technical equipment, and pre-trek talk with the tour guide with final recommendations. - 08:15 - Departure via Route 3
Start of the hike through the Fuegian Forest towards the Emerald Lagoon. First section of about 5 km. - 10:00 AM - Crossing of Laguna Esmeralda and arrival at the TITAN Shelter
If the lagoon is frozen, it is crossed over the ice; if not, it is skirted through the forest. The ascent to the glacier begins from the hut. - 11:00 AM - Technical ascent to Ojo del Albino Glacier
Demanding section with a steep slope. Crampons and poles are used. The landscape becomes spectacular: valleys, ice, and mountains surround you. - 12:30 PM - Arrival at the glacier and lunch
A break to rest, take pictures, and enjoy lunch in front of the impressive glacier amphitheatre. - 1:30 PM - Return along the same path
Descent accompanied by the tour guides, who will ensure the pace of the group and safety. - 5:30 PM - End of activity
Return to the starting point and transport back to Ushuaia. Estimated end between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
