Escape the city and explore the rich mangrove ecosystem of Kuching Wetlands National Park on a half-day wildlife experience.
Your journey begins with a convenient hotel pickup from Kuching City, followed by a scenic transfer of approximately 40 minutes to the jetty.
Upon arrival, board a covered boat for a 40-minute wildlife river cruise through the mangrove waterways. Keep watch for proboscis monkeys resting in the treetops, silver leaf monkeys moving through the canopy, monitor lizards along the muddy riverbanks, and a variety of birdlife including kingfishers and hornbills. With favourable conditions, you may even spot the rare Irrawaddy dolphin.
During the cruise, your experienced boatman will share insights into the unique mangrove ecosystem and the wildlife that calls it home.
After the boat ride, relax during your return transfer to Kuching, completing a nature experience of approximately 2 hours in total, consisting of:
40-minute transfer from Kuching to the jetty
40-minute wildlife boat cruise
40-minute return transfer to Kuching
Optional Extension:
Guests who wish to spend more time on the river can upgrade to an extended 1-hour wildlife cruise (subject to availability and additional charges). This allows more opportunities for wildlife spotting and photography.
