What you can expect

  • Join a guided tour featuring a 2-hour trek through the Fuji Forest Trail in Nishiusuzuka, nestled on the side of Mt. Fuji. Walk among towering 300-year-old trees, explore an ancient crater, listen to birdsong echoing through the forest, and breathe in the refreshing scent of nature with every step.

    Meet your guide, Mac Nagata, a marine biologist and photographer who has travelled to 78 countries studying forests and oceans. Now based in Fujinomiya City at the foot of Mt. Fuji, Mac offers unique insights into the region’s natural wonders.

    Experience the forest in different seasons: April to September brings lush greenery and vibrant forest life, late October to early November offers stunning autumn foliage, and late November to March reveals serene winter scenery with light snowfall.
