An enhanced experience with a distillery tour, where you'll see how we make our famous, award-winning, single malts, from start to finish. This is followed by a tutored nosing and tasting of 5 whiskies from Tomatin Distillery, each revealing why we are the ‘softer side of the Highlands’.

You will be taken on a walk through time, from our beginnings in 1897 through the height of production in the 1970s, to the present day. This in-depth tour includes additional areas of the distillery including the filling store, where our casks are filled.

Sitting beneath the beautiful Monadhliath Mountains, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, Tomatin Distillery is just a short drive from both Inverness and Aviemore.

For our guests arriving by car, we’re pleased to offer the tastings included in each experience as “Driver’s Drams” to takeaway, ensuring everyone can enjoy a taste of Tomatin responsibly.

Taste of Tomatin tours start at our visitor centre and run regularly throughout the day but please book in advance to guarantee your place at a time that suits you.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time of the tour to allow time for check in. You will be joining a scheduled tour and our tours are typically full, if you are running late and arrive after the scheduled time of the tour, you may be unable to join the tour.
