What you can expect

Glass art has been thriving in the Seto region since the 1870s. Seto is Japan's largest producer of raw glass materials. Why not try a private glassblowing experience under the guidance of a master glassblower with over 45 years of experience?

Meet at Owari Seto Station and walk a short distance with your guide to the glass workshop. First, choose the colour and pattern of your glass, and either a glass or a vase. Then, under the guidance of a skilled artisan, create your own unique glass piece.

Enjoy an experience where you are responsible for approximately 70% of the process. Our artisans ensure safety and quality. Take photos and videos of your work.

After the experience, your glass will be cooled and finished. You can pick it up the next day or have it delivered to your accommodation in Japan (shipping fees apply).

During the process, chat with the artisan and learn about life and stories of Seto.
