In the afternoon, explore the island's rich birdlife. With over 300 recorded species, Rubondo is a birdwatcher's paradise. Your guide can help you identify various species. You could also opt for a fishing excursion on Lake Victoria for the chance to catch Nile perch or tilapia, or enjoy a tranquil canoe safari along the lake shores.Dinner and overnight in rest house
Day 3: Scenic Views and Departure
In the morning, take a guided hike to one of the scenic viewpoints on the island, offering panoramic vistas of Lake Victoria and the surrounding wilderness. Visit the park's visitor centre to learn more about the island's ecosystem and conservation efforts. Enjoy a final lunch on the island.
Depart from Rubondo Island by air or boat back to Mwanza, carrying memories of your unique island safari.
