What you can expect

Pre-book your entrance ticket to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, one of the best-preserved parts of the wall. Enjoy a shuttle bus ride to the entrance and take a cable car up to the wall.

Once at the top, choose to hike to the peak or stay to enjoy the beautiful view. Take a cable car or toboggan back down for a fun end to your visit.

Admire the beautiful surroundings, including dense woods and rich pastures that change colours with the seasons. Learn about how this section of the wall once served as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs.
