What you can expect

The iconic Asam Church was built from 1733 to 1746 by sculptor Egid Quirin Asam and painter Cosmas Damian Asam. It is considered to be one of the most important buildings of the German Late Baroque. The brothers Asam had studied in Italy at the Accademia di San Luca. The ceiling fresco “Life of Saint Nepomuk” is considered a masterpiece of Cosmas Damian Asam.
