What you can expect

  • Begin your journey at Isartor, where you’ll discover the fascinating storey of Munich’s foundation and its medieval origins.

Start your day the true Bavarian way with a traditional Weißwurst breakfast, freshly prepared and served with a locally brewed wheat beer. Please note that afternoon tours serve Rostbratwurst with sauerkraut instead of Weißwurst.

Visit a beloved local butcher to taste Leberkäse, one of Bavaria’s most iconic everyday specialities, served fresh from the oven.

Stroll through the vibrant Viktualienmarkt, sampling a selection of regional cheeses and charcuterie paired with a glass of mead, a traditional honey wine.

Visit Marienplatz, discover the stories behind its famous landmarks and, when the tour timing allows, experience the Glockenspiel.

Finish your culinary journey with a delicious surprise dessert, an imperial-era classic and the perfect sweet ending to your Bavarian experience.

    Please note:

Food and drinks are subject to restaurant opening hours, seasonal availability and availability from our local vendors. Occasionally, an advertised tasting may not be available. In this case, we may offer an appropriate local alternative of similar value and quality. If an included food item cannot be provided and you do not wish to accept the offered replacement, please contact us. You can request a refund for the affected booking.

Vegetarian alternatives are available for most tastings but are subject to availability. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer a fully vegan version of the tour.

Please inform us about any allergies or dietary restrictions in advance so that we can check with our vendors and prepare suitable alternatives where possible. While we will do our best to accommodate dietary requirements, we cannot guarantee an environment completely free from allergens.

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a tour due to guide illness, severe weather conditions or other circumstances that prevent us from operating the tour safely. If we cancel the tour, you will receive a full refund or, if you prefer, we will offer an alternative date at no additional cost.

Guests can cancel their booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time for a full refund.
