Mount Fuji 5th Station Tourism Association

Located halfway up Mount Fuji at about 2,300 metres above sea level, the 5th Station is one of the most popular viewpoints of Japan’s iconic mountain. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, browse small souvenir shops, and experience the cool mountain atmosphere. On clear days, the scenery from this altitude is breathtaking and perfect for photos. (Visited between April 26 – November 30. In winter the stop changes to Arakurayama Sengen Park.)

Arakurayama Sengen Park Observation Deck

During winter months, the tour visits Arakurayama Sengen Park, one of the most famous photo spots near Mount Fuji. The park features the beautiful Chureito Pagoda, which stands on a hillside overlooking the city with Mount Fuji in the background. Visitors climb a short staircase to reach the viewpoint and enjoy stunning scenery, especially during cherry blossom or autumn foliage seasons. (Visited between December 1 – April 25.)

Oshino hakkai

Oshino Hakkai is a traditional village famous for its eight crystal-clear ponds formed by melted snow from Mount Fuji filtering through volcanic rock. The spring water is extremely pure and has been recognised as one of Japan’s natural treasures. Visitors can walk around the ponds, enjoy local snacks, and admire traditional houses with beautiful views of Mount Fuji.

Gotemba Premium Outlets is one of Japan’s largest outlet shopping centers, located at the foot of Mount Fuji. The open-air mall features more than 200 international and Japanese brand stores, offering discounted prices on fashion, sportswear, accessories, and lifestyle goods. Visitors can enjoy shopping, dining, and relaxing while taking in spectacular views of Mount Fuji in the background. Relax and unwind at a traditional Japanese hot spring (onsen), where you can soak in naturally heated mineral-rich waters surrounded by peaceful scenery. This optional stop is a great way to experience an important part of Japanese culture after a day of sightseeing. The hot spring features separate swimming areas for men and women, along with changing rooms and basic amenities. Admission is not included in the tour price. Guests who choose the hot spring experience must pay the entrance fee on-site (approximately ¥1,800–¥2,200 per adult, depending on the day).
