— THE JEEP EXPERIENCE —
We begin the morning with breakfast — fresh Balinese coffee and local food — before we set off into the dark. Our 4x4 jeep departs before sunrise, climbing the volcanic slopes of Mount Batur as the sky shifts from black to gold. Our drivers know these trails well, taking you to the best vantage points on the crater rim as the sun rises over Lake Batur. By the time the horizon lights up, you will understand why this volcano is considered sacred by every Balinese.

On the way down from Kintamani, we stop at a working highland coffee plantation for a tasting of single-origin Balinese arabica — grown on the fertile volcanic slopes of the region. We also pass through traditional villages where daily life continues largely untouched by mass tourism.

In the afternoon, we visit Tirta Empul — Bali's most sacred water temple, fed by a spring that has never run dry in recorded history. Unlike most tours that walk you past the pools and move on, we arrange for guests who wish to participate in the melukat: the traditional Balinese purification ritual performed in the holy spring water. Guided by our local team, you will move through the 13 sacred fountains, each with its own spiritual meaning — cleansing body and mind in the same waters Balinese people have used for over a thousand years. This is not a performance for tourists. It is the real thing, done with full respect for local customs and proper guidance. Participation is completely optional. Guests who prefer to observe are equally welcome.
