What you can expect

Known as the Most Portuguese Village in Portugal, Monsanto is one of the 12 Historical Villages in Portugal, and perhaps the most visited.
We usually start the visit at a viewpoint with carparking, from where we set off on foot through the interior of the village, meandering through its streets as we go up towards the Castle.
Throughout the Visit we interpret geology, geography, history, habits and customs and even other particularities. The return to the starting point is made through ruins from the 16th century and along highly panoramic paths.
