What you can expect

Join two friends—an architect and an archaeologist—with a shared passion for sketching, architecture, and local heritage, on a unique walking experience across the island of Milos.

Discover the stories hidden within the island’s settlements, monuments, and landscapes while learning to observe and record them through sketching. No previous drawing or sketching experience is required.
Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced artist, you will be guided through simple techniques that help you connect more deeply with the places you visit.

During these afternoon and evening walks, lasting between 2 and 4 hours and starting from 17:00 onwards, you will explore areas such as Plaka, Trypiti, or the site of the Ancient City of Milos. Along the way, you will learn about the evolution of local architecture, the island’s history, and the cultural influences that have shaped Milos through the centuries.

Sketching offers a unique way of seeing. By drawing on location, you engage with buildings and landscapes more attentively, gaining a richer and more personal understanding of their form, character, and history.

Choose your own creative approach—whether quick sketches, detailed drawings, or visual notes—and enjoy a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere that combines learning, observation, and artistic expression.

Meeting Point: Archaeological Museum Square, Plaka, Milos.

Experience Milos beyond the typical tourist route and immerse yourself in the architecture, history, and timeless beauty of the Cyclades through the simple act of drawing.
