If you are curious to discover the Hidden Gems of Milan, this tour is made for you!

You will visit three wonderful churches, rich in art and charm. Particular artistic masterpieces hidden from touristic paths.

The first is an Amazing masterpiece of Michelangelo, the Pietà Rondanini, which is kept in one of the Sforza Castle Museums. It is very impressive!

The tour continue admiring the Chiesa Di San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore.  A vast cycle of frescoes by the Leonardesque school has given the church the name of the Milanese Sistine Chapel.

Walking along Via Torino you will reach the Chiesa di Santa Maria presso San Satiro, in which you will find a staggering prospects game, created by the Genius of Bramante.

The tour begins at the main entrance to the Sforza Castle where you will meet with your Blue Badge Guide. Your guide will tell you a little about the tour and then you go to visit this magnificent fortress that was once home to two of Milan’s most famous families, the Visconti and Sforza.

The castle is famous for its wonderful courtyards and in its time welcomed many great artists; Michelangelo Buonarroti and Leonardo Da Vinci, to name but two, used to stroll through these very courtyards. Inside the Castle, you will see the masterpiece of Michelangelo: the Pietà Rondanini. This statue is an excellent example of the extraordinary skill of the artist in old age. In fact, Buonarroti must have been eighty years while he was making this sculpture.

On the way to San Maurizio church, last stop of your tour, you can see the Roman ruins of the Imperial palace of Massimiliano. San Maurizio can leave you a bit disappointed by the outside.
