Taste of Mauritius – Mahébourg
Our Taste of Mauritius experience takes place in Mahébourg, one of the island’s most culturally rich and historic towns. Known as a melting pot of African, Indian, Creole, Chinese, and European influences, Mahébourg offers an authentic window into Mauritius’ shared heritage through food, people, and place.
Once a key port town, Mahébourg remains deeply connected to the everyday life of locals—where cultures coexist, traditions are shared, and flavours tell the storey of the island’s diverse roots.
