What you can expect

Head to the Swan Boat Hire Van and pick up your kayak. Get a life jacket, dry bag, and tuition before heading out on the water.

Paddle along the Maroochy River and discover the unique environment of the river system which is navigable between the river mouth and Bli Bli Wetland Sanctuary.

Go sightseeing, bird-watching, or just observe the ecosystem at your own pace.

The double kayaks are Viking 2 + 1, ideal for all sizes. All paddle craft can be used throughout the river. Stay close to Chamber’s Island if you’re a beginner. Try timing your hire to use the tides to your advantage. Paddle down to Cotton Tree with the outgoing tide, and head back as the tide comes in.
