What you can expect

  • Immerse yourself in the authentic aromas and flavours of the Maremma with an oil tasting and an unforgettable picnic among the olive trees.
    Start the experience with a guided tasting of four premium extra virgin olive oils (EVO) from different Italian regions. These are accompanied by three glasses of local wine: the fresh Vermentino and the intense Rosato and Morellino di Scansano. Enjoy fresh vegetables in pinzimonio, bread for bruschetta, and fresh water.
    After the tasting, relax in the shade of the olive trees with a picnic prepared with typical Tuscan products: aubergine and courgette in oil, Tuscan crostini with wild boar or mushroom pâté, local cheese with onion cream, salami cacciatore, local cold cuts, savoury torcettini, a typical Maremma dessert, bread, and a tin of oil to take home.
