Activity itinerary

Together we'll adventure into the stunning fjords in search of tundra damage. The impacts of humans is very visible on fragile tundra landscapes, by participating in this project you'll help to map the impacts and work on solutions to solve the ecological problem. Mapping the damages happens both during the day and during the evening on landscapes that remain free of snow. The day time mapping will offer you spectacular views of fjords with chances of spotting wildlife like eagles, reindeer and otters. Mapping during the evening offers you chances of seeing Northern Lights. The goal of this ambitious project is to restore the tundra where it is damaged by campfires, and to encourage environmentally friendly behaviours based on the leave-no-trace philosophy.
