In the afternoon, we will meet at the dive centre, where you will receive your complete gear – including a briefing. The key components of your gear, the mask and snorkel, are supplied by MARES, our renowned diving equipment manufacturer. Your guide will help you choose the mask that fits you perfectly for maximum comfort during the excursion.
You will also be fitted with a suitably sized wetsuit that will keep you warm, protect you from the sun, and also provide some buoyancy. If you wish, we can also provide you with professional diving fins and neoprene boots.
After putting on your wetsuit and neoprene boots, you will board our speedboat with one of our guides for a roughly 15-minute ride to one of the secluded bays at Cap de Pinar or Cap de Formentor. In the bow of the boat, you will sit in the shade and enjoy the ride along the rocky coastline.
After a short briefing, during which the guide will explain how the equipment works, you will enter the blue water with the guide. You can jump straight off the boat or use the dive ladder. The guide will stay with the small group at all times and provide assistance as needed. While snorkelling, you can discover a wealth of marine life: schools of sea bream and angelfish, small groupers, octopuses, starfish, and much more.
After about 50 minutes, you will climb back up the ladder and return to the boat. To line your stomach, you will be served some cookies and fresh water. On the return journey to the dive centre, you can once again enjoy the coastline of the Bay of Pollença and bring your snorkelling adventure to a close.
By the way: All the photos shown were taken during our snorkelling tours. In most cases, the guide will be provided with a camera, and we will send you the photos free of charge (no guarantee).
