Palau March is the former city palace of the famous Mallorcan family, March. It was built in 1939 and was later owned by the Bartolomé March Severa Foundation. In 2003, descendants of Joan March opened an impressive art collection of modern and contemporary art. Art work that are included in this collection include sculptures by Rodin, wall paintings by Dali, and mallorcan paintings, antiques, and cartography. The Castell de Bellver is a fortress complex watches over the harbour of Palma and as a result, also has a breathtaking view.
