Tour Itinerary:
Your day begins with a hearty breakfast, after which your guide and driver will meet you in the hotel lobby. After a brief introduction, you’ll set off to Polsek Tanralili, about 35 km east of Makassar city centre, which will be the starting point of your cycling journey.
The cycling route stretches for 30 km, taking approximately 3 to 4 hours. As you pedal through scenic countryside, you’ll be treated to spectacular views of rolling hills, lush rice paddies, and charming villages with their traditional Bugis-Makassar houses, offering a real taste of rural life.
After cycling 19 km, you’ll make a stop at Leang Leang Archaeological Park, where you’ll step back in time and explore ancient traces of human history. Discover handprints, ancient depictions of wild boars and deer, as well as hunting tools and even the skeletal remains of early humans offering a rare glimpse into life thousands of years ago.
From Leang Leang, the adventure continues with a 11 km ride to Rammang Rammang. Upon arriving at Pier 2, you’ll board a boat and drift through the awe-inspiring limestone forest of Rammang Rammang, followed by a peaceful stroll through Berua Village, where you can soak in the serenity of the surroundings.
At the end of the day, you’ll relax as you make the 1.5-hour drive back to your hotel, bringing your extraordinary journey to a close.
