Join us at a Wednesday evening concert featuring the gems of centuries of organ music. Come to relax and experience the beauty, passion, and uplifting nature of perfectly written classical music performed by great musicians. Varied solo organ or chamber music concerts are offered in the series depending on the date of your visit. Pieces composed by Bach, Dubois, Franck, Handel, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Mozart or Vivaldi have all been selected to provide visitors with quality entertainment and lasting experience.
The creative director and main organist of the series is Miklós Teleki, who is a remarkable, award-winning Hungarian musician giving about 120 recitals a year. The artist plays two alternating solo programmes and we also offer four chamber music events. On these occasions excellent guest musicians join the concerts, including a soprano opera singer, Nóra Ducza, on 15 July and 16 September, and a violinist, Zsuzsa Berényi, on 17 June and 19 August. Moreover, two great guest organists also give recitals this year: Evert van de Veen performs on 22 July and Tamás Lozsányi on 2 September and 28 October.
The concerts start with a short introduction of the musicians, you can follow the programme on a printed leaflet.
