    Build your day from Salzburg's old town and Mozart's birthplace, the Mirabell Gardens, the fortress, the Salzkammergut lakes, Hallstatt or the Eagle's Nest above Berchtesgaden. A day of about 8 hours fits the old town plus one of these trips out: for example Salzburg and Hallstatt, or Salzburg and the Eagle's Nest, but not both.
