Overview

  • Explore roughly 310 km of the Trans-Canada Highway between Moose Jaw and the Manitoba border in either direction. Allow about 3–4 hours of driving, plus time for optional detours. The 34 mapped pass-by entries connect more than 50 GPS-triggered stories about Regina, Wascana Centre, the Qu’Appelle Valley, Indian Head, Whitewood, Moosomin and the people and landscapes of prairie Saskatchewan.

The self-guided audio tour plays on your own smartphone or tablet while a live route map follows the drive. Download before setting out for offline use, then pause and resume at your own pace. Drive your own vehicle; there is no in-person guide, and attraction admission, parking and optional detours are separate.

Know before you book

    • Service animals allowed
    • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
    • This self-guided drive uses your own vehicle and works in either direction. Sightseeing is mainly from the highway; optional parks, museums and walks vary in accessibility, opening hours and admission. Public transport cannot cover the full route. The audio tour still works when nearby buildings are closed. Check prairie weather, highway conditions and seasonal park services before detours; Kenosee Superslides is a former site, not an operating waterpark.
