Day 1: Arrival in Lijiang

Upon arrival at Lijiang Airport, be greeted with a personalised welcome sign. Transfer to a boutique hotel near the ancient town, where you can settle in and relax. As evening falls, take a leisurely stroll through the UNESCO-listed Old Town, wandering along its cobblestone streets lined with traditional architecture. Don't miss the vibrant bar street where you can enjoy live music with a local beer.

Day 2: Snow Mountain & Alpine Lakes

Start your morning at the picturesque Lashi Lake wetland, where snow-capped peaks reflect in the calm waters. After lunch, visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, taking a cable car up to enjoy panoramic views (oxygen provided if needed). The highlight comes at Blue Moon Valley, where mineral-rich waters create stunning turquoise pools perfect for photography. The day concludes in the quieter Shuhe Old Town, where you can browse artisan shops at sunset.

Day 3: Journey to Shangri-La

Today's scenic drive follows the Yangtze River to Tiger Leaping Gorge, where you'll witness raging waters carving through one of the world's deepest canyons. After a local lunch, arrive at Pudacuo National Park - often called “China's Switzerland” for its pristine forests and mirror-like lakes. Enjoy a guided walk along wooden boardwalks before a special dinner featuring regional specialities.

Day 4: Tibetan Culture Experience

Morning begins at Songzanlin Monastery, the largest Tibetan Buddhist complex in Yunnan. Learn about prayer wheels and butter lamps from resident monks. The afternoon brings you to Napahai Grassland, where yaks graze against a backdrop of rolling hills. Choose between horseback riding or a guided nature walk to discover wildflowers and migratory birds. Return to Lijiang as the sun sets over the countryside.

Day 5: Departure

After breakfast, enjoy free time for last-minute souvenir shopping (we recommend local honey or handmade silver jewellery). Your driver will ensure a timely transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
