What you can expect

  • Come and discover the highest Roman bridge-aqueduct in the world and its history with a licensed tour guide during a 2h private tour and admire its architecture, rare for its time and the best preserved now.

Built by the Romans around 50 AD, the Pont du Gard is the major element and most prestigious vestige of the ancient aqueduct of Nîmes, designed to bring water from the Eure spring, at the foot of the town of Uzès, to Nîmes.
It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985.

You will also have time after the guided tour, to visit the museum by yourself (valid only during the opening hours of the museum).
