The Via Ferrata Cima Capi is one of the most scenic and popular via ferratas in the Upper Lake Garda region. This equipped route, running along the sheer cliffs above the lake, offers spectacular views of the Sarca Valley and Lake Garda, with thrilling exposed sections that highlight the steep rock faces below.
Although classified as moderate, the hike requires a good level of physical fitness due to the significant elevation gain. However, the breathtaking views along the way make every step worthwhile.
The highlight of the route is the Cima Capi summit, offering an unmissable 360° panorama over the Sarca Valley and Lake Garda, a truly unique spectacle.
After reaching the summit, the trail continues through historical pathways, fortifications, and tunnels from the First World War. This route is famous for its beauty and exposure, making you feel as if you're suspended between the sky and the lake, floating high above the deep blue waters.
But the adventure doesn’t end here! From the highest point, the route continues along a short equipped section, known as Sentiero Foletti, leading to the Bivacco, where you can rest before beginning the final descent towards the picturesque village of Biacesa in the Ledro Valley.
