Visit Adega Monte do Além, a boutique winery located near the Ria de Alvor Nature Reserve, with a small lake home to flamingos and storks. Learn about the estate’s history, which began in 2002, and discover how it cultivates traditional grape varieties, including Aragonez, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Grenache, and Syrah.
This year we started a new project with 4 other local wine producers, Quinta da Penina, Foral de Portimão, Falesia Wines and Vale de Almadena Wines, therefore people can get an unique experience of tasting 5 different wines at only one location. We have a selection of 5 reserve / premium / selection local made wines from rosé, whites and red at your choosing and/or taste.
Our wines combine portuguese grapes such as Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouschet, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Negra Mole, for red wines, and Arinto, Verdelho, Antão Vaz and Siria for whites, blended with the tradional grape varieties.
You should taste the unique Algarve native grape, Negra Mole, in red and rosé wines.
Sample a selection of Portuguese starters, including portuguese cheese, portuguese charcuterie, and other products. Vegetarian options are also available by request.
