Surf Day Schedule:

We pick you up from various meeting points across Lagos, Praia da Luz, or Burgau (details will be sent to you the evening before your lesson). If you prefer to drive yourself, we can also meet directly at the beach.

From there, we drive to the best surf spot of the day on either the South or West Coast of the Algarve, depending on conditions.

Once at the beach, we provide you with all the necessary surf equipment. Your lesson begins with a safety briefing, warm-up, a short theory session, and practice on the sand before heading into the water. Each surf lesson lasts about 2.5 hours, with 2 hours of surfing time (in the water).

After the lesson, you can relax and grab a drink at a beach café while we take care of the equipment. Then we bring you back to Lagos, usually between 1 and 3 pm, depending on the beach location.

Important: Children under 14 can not participate in group lessons without an adult. For example, you may book two kids aged 17 and 13 without an adult, but you cannot book two kids aged 10 and 12 on their own. If booking for children under 14, please include at least one adult in the group booking, or choose a private lesson.

About Us:

Our surf school has been operating in Lagos since 2008 and is one of the most experienced in the Algarve. We offer both group and private surf lessons for beginners and intermediate surfers.

Group lessons: max. 8 students per instructor, mixing different ages and levels.
Private lessons: 1–3 people, for more personalised coaching.

Our head coach is a certified trainer with over 30 years of surfing and 18 years of teaching experience. He personally trains our team of young, enthusiastic instructors, ensuring high-quality, safe, and professional lessons.
