Welcome to LagWine, an authentic, family-run winery located in the heart of Lagodekhi. Your journey into the 8,000-year-old tradition of Georgian winemaking begins with a warm welcome from the winemaker himself. We will start by exploring our bio-certified vineyards, where you’ll learn about our commitment to organic viticulture and why we avoid all synthetic chemicals to preserve the purity of the soil.

Next, we will head down into our traditional Marani (wine cellar). Here, you will discover the magic of the Qvevri—large clay vessels buried underground. I will explain the unique UNESCO-recognized process of fermentation and ageing that gives Georgian wine its distinctive character. You’ll see first-hand where our limited-edition wines are born.

The experience culminates in a guided tasting session of our premium, bio-certified wines. You will explore the diversity of Georgian grapes, tasting our aromatic Kisi, the classic amber Rkatsiteli, and our bold Saperavi red. A special highlight is our unique Amber Blend, where ancient traditions meet balanced craftsmanship. Each wine is served with artisanal local snacks, including Georgian cheeses, fresh bread, and seasonal starters, perfectly paired to enhance the natural notes of our organic production.
