Immerse yourself in a Japanese cultural workshop based on the concept of “being here and now.” Incorporating the philosophy of Zen, this experiential workshop is designed by a Japanese language school. The workshop is based on Japan’s traditional 72 microseasons, and each experience changes slightly depending on the season.
Zen is often considered deep and difficult to approach, but it is originally something that lives within our everyday lives. This workshop allows you to learn and experience it in a casual way, so that you can incorporate it into your daily life after the experience and even after returning home.
In this workshop, use all five senses to feel the present moment. Elements of psychology are also included.
In the flower arrangement workshop, create your own arrangement while reflecting on your current state, incorporating elements of colour therapy. Learn about seasonal Japanese flowers, combining ikebana with a Western fusion style.
Fresh flowers are arranged using elements of the Ohara school, one of the traditional schools of ikebana. Take your arrangement home in a middle or kitchen bouquet style. Tea and sweets will also be served during the experience.
