What you can expect

  • Start with pickup from the activity provider's office at midday. Hop on onboard a comfortable vehicle for the scenic transfer through the Georgian countryside. Stop at the beginning of the Martvili Canyon hiking trail.

    Venture through dense foliage that turns fantastical colours in autumn. Buy a ticket for the boat and take in the area's lush landscapes and waterfalls from the water. Stop at a restaurant along the way where you can refuel with a delicious lunch.

    Continue to Prometheus cave which is 80 metres below the surface and 1.4 kilometer's long. Purchase a ticket and enter the cave to see curtains of stalactites and stalagmites that are lit with bright colours. Buy a ticket for a boat and go on a short subterranean cruise.
