Discover the highlights of Kusadasi on a guided tour from the port. Visit Pigeon Island, take in the views from Kesedag Hill, and relax on Ladies Beach. End your tour with a visit to the Kusadasi Caravanserai.
Start your tour with a pickup from Kusadasi Port and head to Pigeon Island. In the 13th century, the Genoese founded Pigeon Island and constructed a fortress there, beginning the island's history. It underwent major alterations and upgrades over the years, which moulded its own personality. The island is a place for birds during seasonal migrations, which is why it was called Bird Island. The island is one of the best places to enjoy the panoramic view of the beautiful city and watch the sunset. There are also various plants and animals here.
Next, drive to Kesedag Hill. On the hill, there is a 12-meter giant statue of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and a magnificent view. Here you have the opportunity to see the city from a bird’s eye view. Take pictures if you want, or enjoy the view of Kusadasi.
Pass to Ladies Beach, which is famous for its beach. Swim here if you want, or relax on the beach sand. After taking a 40-minute rest break, visit Gazi Begendi Hill, a place that will fascinate you with its view. This name comes from Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. When Mustafa Kemal Atatürk came to Kuşadası, he climbed this hill and admired the view. A few years later, Kuşadası Municipality built a cafe, restaurant, and children's playground there.
Watch the panoramic view of Kusadasi and witness unique sunset views. Drive by the seaside and end at Kusadasi Caravanserai. Okuz Mehmet Pasha Caravanserai was first built as a castle in 1618, and later it started to be used as an inn. There is a two-story, porticoed indoor space around the rectangular courtyard surrounded by thick and high walls.
Walk the old town of Kusadasi and the narrow street. Enjoy free time at leisure and return to the port by yourself.
