Begin your journey at JR Kii-Uchihara Station, where you’ll meet your English-speaking guide. Travel to the historic Tanjoin Temple, where your adventure begins. Walk through the dramatic “Kiritoshi,” a path cut through rock, and past the Hii Wakai Oji Shrine, eventually reaching the coast.

Trace the footsteps of ancient pilgrims as you explore the sacred lands. For lunch, enjoy a delicious “Moon Shot” burger at Tashinami, a local favourite, before soothing your muscles in the seaside “Michishio no Yu” hot spring.

Experience the heritage of the sea route that once connected the capital to the spiritual heartland. Walk through the impressive Kiridoshi, a narrow pass carved through the earth to allow passage. Enjoy a gourmet local burger lunch, a fun departure from traditional kaiseki meals.
