Departing from Lomé, the capital of Togo, you will drive for 1.5 hours and stop in Agou. There, a short hike to Agou Peak, the highest mountain in the country, awaits you. Continue to the town of Kpalimé for a tour of the town and its local customs, including the German Cathedral, the handicrafts emporium, and a local farm where, if you’re lucky, you can observe the distillation of palm wine. After lunch, head to Wome, a small village 8 km (5 miles) from the city, where you can cool off by visiting the mini waterfall in its peaceful, verdant setting. If you feel like it, you can also go for a swim before heading back to Lomé.
