Discover the best of Okinawa on a sightseeing bus tour. Enjoy a flexible experience with a smart audio guide on your smartphone and learn about Okinawa’s culture and history.
Board the bus at one of the three pick-up / drop-off locations:
- In front of the Okinawa Prefectural Assembly (Naha)
- Next to DFS T Galleria Omoromachi (Naha)
- Chatan Tourist Information Centre (Chatan)
Start your day with a stop at Ocean Expo Park (about 150 minutes) and, depending on the option you selected, visit:
Churaumi Aquarium: Explore four floors of massive tanks featuring deep-sea creatures, sharks, coral, and tropical fish.
Next, enjoy Kouri Beach (about 20 minutes), the tropical fruit market, and breathtaking views of the emerald-blue ocean from the 2 km-long Kouri Bridge.
Continue to Okashigoten (about 20 minutes), famous for its Beniimo Tarts—perfect for buying souvenirs for family, colleagues, and friends.
Then head to Cape Manza (about 20 minutes), an iconic scenic spot known for its elephant-shaped rock. A 100 JPY environmental protection fee is collected on site to help preserve the cliffs and surrounding wildlife. You can also take this time to enjoy delicious Okinawan donuts.
Finally, visit American Village (about 50 minutes), a lively area with fashion shops, restaurants serving burgers and hot dogs, and Sunset Beach, an ideal place to watch the sunset. You may also choose to end the tour here.
Alternatively, the tour will finish at one of the original pick-up locations.
The official tour start time is the departure from the first pick-up point, after which the bus will proceed to the other two locations.
This tour is ideal for travellers who want an efficient overview of Okinawa rather than long stays at each site.
Note: Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium conducts animal welfare assessments based on five factors (nutrition, environment, health, behaviour, and psychology) in accordance with WAZA (World Association of Zoos and Aquariums) and JAZA (Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums) standards, and is actively involved in marine conservation and protection.
Luggage can be stored in the bus trunk, which is especially convenient if you are changing hotels between Naha and Chatan.
