Your journey begins at the main square of Khorog, where you’ll meet your local guide and get a short introduction to the city's unique location and history. From there, we’ll walk to Khorog Central Park — a peaceful green space where locals gather to relax, play chess, and enjoy nature. Next, we ’ll head to the local bazaar, full of colours, fresh produce, and handmade goods, offering a chance to see daily life up close.
We’ll then visit the beautiful Ismaili Centre, an important spiritual and cultural hub, where you’ll learn about the traditions and values of the local community. After that, we’ll walk up to the Khorog Botanical Garden (transport optional), one of the highest in the world, with stunning views over the city and river.
Throughout the walk, your guide will share stories about the city, Pamiri culture, and daily life. The tour ends with optional tea or snacks at a local cafe, where you can relax and ask questions.
